Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz (TX-15) announced that the Government of Mexico will begin immediate water deliveries owed to the United States under the 1944 Water Treaty. The announcement, backed by the Trump Administration, marks a hard-fought victory for De La Cruz, who has made this issue a top priority since entering Congress.
“This is a win for South Texas communities,” said De La Cruz. “After two years of being told nothing could be done, we finally have a President and an Administration that has shown strength and delivered.
